"I've never enjoyed the taste of toothpaste and often avoided brushing my teeth because of it. As an adult, I assumed that I was allergic or at least intolerant to mint, so I switched to fruit-flavored kids toothpaste (Tom's of Maine Outrageous Orange Mango), which was better, but not ideal. Then I recently had a major allergic reaction that led to extreme sensitivity to the terpenes that naturally occur in plants (like limonene, linalool, and hexyl cinnamol) and now can't be anywhere near perfumes, essential oils, or fragrant foods and must avoid "natural flavors. " So toothpastes in citrus, berry, or cinnamon flavors became dangerous, too. I ordered this Risewell Unflavored Toothpaste, worried that I would also hate the taste of it or that it would be too sweet, but it's amazing! Not only is the taste perfect for me, but it leaves my teeth feeling incredibly clean and smooth. It removes buildup better than any toothpaste I've ever used. I now enjoy brushing my teeth, which is so much better for my health. I wish I'd found this sooner!"
